The Ashton name has been a major player in the cigar world since it was developed in the 1990’s by Robert Levin and Carlos Fuente. Since its inception the brand has flourished under the flags of many different blends and brands. The Fuentes have long been known in the Dominican Republic for growing some of the worlds most coveted tobacco. Anything rolled or grown on their farm has become an overnight success.
The Ashton Cabinet is a meaty cigar with more body and flavor then its whit e label original Ashton counterpart. The Cabinet Series takes advantage of longer aged tobaccos and leaves from different primings to bring out this unique aroma. Upon its release it was met with rave reviews and carried the torch passed to it from the highly successful original blend. The Cabinet Series was the first super premium line extension Ashton had and not the last. The medium to full bodied cigar has an earthy aroma with hints of peat and a metallic finish. The taste is both unique and distinctive. The line spans several different sizes in both the parejo (standard round) and perfecto (closed foot) shapes.
