Amate reposado has a rich golden color attributed to its time in the wood and the tequila has certainly benefited from this resting by being very smooth. Also appealing about this tequila is that its 6 month resting period has not imparted any obvious or strong wood flavors and the great agave flavor prevalent in Amate Blanco is not lost in this rested version.
