BV was founded in 1900 by Frenchman George de Latour in Rutherford, in the heart of Napa valley. Blended with a small amount of their famous Cabernet, this Merlot has a bouquet of berry and oak, with complex flavors of rich berry and spice, light tannins, and a long finish. It matches well with a wide variety of foods from beef and lamb to well-spiced swordish steaks.
